At CCC, we believe…
- Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, who died for our sins and arose from the dead.
(1 Corinthians 15: 1-8 & John 3:16)
- The Bible is the inspired and reliable Word of God – It is the our only source of truth for doctrine and practice in the Church.
(2 Timothy 3:16 & Psalm 119:105)
- Every person has worth as a creation of God , but that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(Romans 3:23)
- Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust in Christ as Savior and Lord.
(John 3:16)
- Those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him.
(Romans 10:9 & Acts 2:38)
- The Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to evangelize the lost and prepare the saved to do ministry.
(Ephesians 4:1-16)
- Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
What is our purpose?
Our Goal: To progressively transform people into the image of Jesus Christ in every area of their lives.
Our Process: We will accomplish our goal by connecting every person to Christ, other disciples, and lost people through Disciple-Making Life Groups.
Following Jesus’ own mission statement for His Church, our mission is to “go into all the world and make disciples,” Matthew 28:19-20. But what is a disciple? A disciple is a person who is allowing the Spirit of God to progressively transform him or her into Christ’s image in every area of their life. As that happens, the disciple’s love for God and for other people expands in practical ways. He finds ways to connect with lost people whom no one else is interested in. She finds opportunities to minister to other disciples. Through those loving actions, they find that their love for God is increasing.
But how does that transformation happen in a disciple’s life? At CCC we found that it happens best in the context of Life Groups. So, we are focusing our efforts to connect every person who walks in the door at CCC to Christ, other disciples, and lost people through one of our Disciple-Making Life Groups.
