Leadership

Aaron has been in full-time ministry for over twenty years. He received his Master's in New Testament Preaching from Johnson University. He loves people and enjoys seeing lives changed by the Gospel. Originally from Southwest Virginia, Aaron is a football fanatic and especially loves the Hokies. He and his wife, Robin, have three sons and a daughter.

Before coming on staff, Lynette volunteered in children's ministry since 1998 and came on staff in 2011. She oversees our programming for all our children and students (birth - high school). She truly loves children and children love her! Lynette and her husband, Mike, have two sons, a bonus daughter and the best two grandkids.  

Heather oversees the discipling and equipping of birth through fifth graders and their parents.  Before coming on staff in 2021 she volunteered with our children and youth. Heather, a graduate of the University of Virginia, taught middle school for ten years at Henrico County Public Schools. Heather and her husband, John, have two children, Aubrey and Logan, and love spending time with them in the great outdoors. You can email Heather here.

Caleb oversees the worship team and helps plan Sunday morning services. Having grown up attending Chester Christian, he spent many years faithfully serving on the worship team before becoming the worship leader in 2025. Caleb graduated from VCU with a bachelor's in music, and he works full-time as a State Park Ranger in law enforcement.  When he is not working or leading worship, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their cat. 

Before becoming the Treasurer for Chester Christian Church in 1994, Shirley gained her financial experience in the banking industry. She truly enjoys helping the church with her talents. She's married to Donnie, has a son, a daughter, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
