Aaron has been in full-time ministry for over fifteen years. He received his Master's in New Testament Preaching from Johnson University. He loves people and enjoys seeing lives changed by the Gospel. Originally from Southwest Virginia, Aaron is a football fanatic and especially loves the Hokies. Joe Popp, discipleship pastor
Joe helps us with our mission of discipling people in the Gospel by overseeing our small groups. He is originally from Clearwater, Florida and received his Bachelor's in counseling from Trinity College. He has spent the last 8 years serving in churches. Joe is an avid fisherman who loves Jesus and getting coffee with friends. He and his wife, Claire, have two sons, Finn and Hugh, and two dogs, Lucy and Otto.

Lynette Breeden, future generations director
Before coming on staff, Lynette volunteered in children's ministry for almost 20 years. She oversees our programming for all of our children and students (birth - high school). heather gillenwater, Children's Ministry leader
Heather oversees the discipling and equipping of birth through fifth graders and their parents. Before coming on staff, Heather, a graduate of the University of Virginia, taught middle school for ten years at Henrico County Public Schools. She has volunteered in children’s and youth ministry for over 7 years. Heather and her husband, John, have two children, Aubrey and Logan, and love spending time with them in the great outdoors. Before becoming the Treasurer for Chester Christian Church in 1994, Shirley gained her financial experience in the banking industry. She truly enjoys helping the church with her talents.
